Kuinerrarmiut Elitnaurviat’s Grade Six-ish
In the far north western part of the state of Alaska lies a small Yup’ik village called Quinhagak.

On the evening of April 9th, 2005 our class had its second Slumber Party of the school year.  Despite it’s name there was very little “slumbering” going on.  For the most part we entertained ourselves by playing basketball, watching scary movies, making up one another, and chatting with friends on-line.

We earned our party by passing over 30 phases before the end of the school year.  Here at our school we don’t follow a grade level system but rather a “phase system”.  It’s meant to better prepare us for our Benchmark Exams, which we just took THIS WEEK.

We are just learning how to get our homepage up so there isn’t really anything here yet.  BUT, come back.  We’ll be sure to update often.
