The Road Trip to Disneyland Day
Last night we were all told we were leaving promptly at 7:30 am.  Nervous that they might be left behind Terrilynn and Christina were up at 6:00am.  Zane was up at 6:30 and Julius, whom needs the least amount of primping, was up at 7:00.  It was good to see Miss Christina up and dressed at 7:15 but she was still clutching her stomach and looked pretty pale.

We all took turns sleeping with Miss Chris’s dad driving.  Through most of the trip Zane was surround by the two giggling girls who took turns pinching his neck and trying to kiss him.  Once we got to L.A. and stopped for a restroom break Julius took sympathy on him and switched seats.

In the insanity of 8 hours in the car just a few short days after 19 on route by planes.  Miss Christina finally broke into songs that she learned while attending summer camps as an elementary school student herself.  She sang “Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed”, “Three Chartreuse Buzzards”  and “Little Bunny Foo Foo” before taking requests.  Her mom suggested “The Teensy Weensy Spider” and some duck song that Christina couldn’t remember before requesting, “Spaghetti Oh my Meatball” to which Miss Christina busted up laughing at so loudly and for so long we were beginning to think she really lost it.  Terrilynn said, “I don’t think I have ever heard her laugh before.”

We arrived in Anaheim at about 6:00pm and went for swim with Miss Christina’s cousin Kellie and her three kids (Conner, Summer, and Patrick).

After the swim we went to Downtown Disney where we saw a lot of things we WANTED to buy but the lines were too long and we were afraid we would miss the fireworks show…  It was a great show.
